The Impact of Implementing Blockchain Technology on Enhancing the Quality of Public Health Services in Egypt According to the State Vision 2030: Analyzing the Mediating Role of Sustainable Governance Applied to Universal Health Insurance Authority Ho
This study aimed to analyze the impact of implementing Blockchain Technology on enhancing the quality of public health services in Egypt in accordance with Vision 2030, while examining the mediating role of Sustainable Governance in this relationship. The study adopted a deductive methodology, wherein data were collected through a survey questionnaire consisting of 60 statements. This questionnaire was distributed to a stratified random sample of 140 individuals from senior leadership and officials in Universal Health Insurance Authority hospitals in the provinces of Port Said and Ismailia, achieving a response rate of 86.4% with 121 valid questionnaires for analysis. The study yielded a set of significant findings, notably the existence of a strong positive relationship between the implementation of Blockchain Technology and the improvement of health service quality. Technology contributed to enhancing transparency and the Safety of medical information, improving the efficiency of operational processes, and reducing costs. Additionally, the results demonstrated the effective mediating role of Sustainable Governance in strengthening this relationship through improved transparency and accountability, enhanced community engagement, and the achievement of equity in service distribution. These improvements were reflected in the quality of health services provided, patient satisfaction, and the efficiency of health resource management. Based on these results, the study presented a series of important recommendations, including the necessity to enhance the Safety of health data through the implementation of Blockchain Technology, reduce operational costs by automating administrative processes, improve patient experience by facilitating access to health services, enhance oversight and quality in service delivery
